A luxurious four bedroom, two bathroom lakeside villa located in the peaceful gated community of Colonial Pointe in South Fort Myers, Florida. A truly imposing family home with a fully screened private pool (heated) and spacious living accommodation, providing the ideal base to explore Southwest Florida’s Gulf of Mexico. Silversands lies adjacent to the Bay View Golf Club, is only seven minutes drive from the white sands of Fort Myers Beach, 15 minutes from tropical Sanibel and Captiva Islands and 30 minutes from beautiful Naples. The natural wetlands of the Everglades are less than an hour’s drive away. Our home is fully air conditioned and has a spacious open plan living area that includes a large lounge with sliding doors leading onto the pool deck with panoramic views over the lake. The lounge is equipped with cable TV, VCR, DVD, telephone and high speed internet access. Ceiling fans are fitted in all rooms. There is a separate dining area, a breakfast room overlooking the lake/pool and a fully equipped kitchen. The master suite has a queen-size bed, en-suite bathroom, walk-in wardrobe and has a TV and VCR. The second bedroom also has a queen-size bed and the third and fourth bedrooms each have twin beds. The screened pool deck overlooks the lake and is equipped with sun loungers, chairs and table. The 28 foot by 14 foot heated pool has the benefits of both solar and electric heating and has underwater lighting. Fort Myers offers so much for every member of the family. The area is one of natural beauty with many protected nature and wildlife preserves and some of Fort Myers most impressive features are the miles of stunning coastline and the white-sand beaches. The tropical islands of Sanibel and Captiva are a favourite of couples and families alike and all the beaches are classed as family friendly. For the more energetic, many beaches have water-sport rentals providing everything from water-skiing to paragliding and as you would expect Southwest Florida has an endless selection of restaurants and shops to suit all tastes and budgets. The Fort Myers area boasts over 50 public and semi-private golf courses, with new courses complimenting the renowned established clubs to create what many affectionately refer to as the Golf Coast. You can trace the developments of the last 150 years at Fort Myers Historical Museum and visit the crown jewels of Fort Myers historical homes - the Edison and Ford Winter Estates, located in 14 acres of botanical gardens on the banks of the Caloosahatchee River. Silversands is only a fifteen minute drive from South West Florida’s International Airport, Tampa Airport is about one and a half hours drive and Miami is just two hours.
