Champions Gate Villa

We purchased our brand new villa in June 2002. It is in an excellent location, just 10 minutes from Disney Maingate and 3 minutes from Interstate-4, the most direct route to all the Florida attractions. It is also only 2 minutes from the new Champions Gate golf courses, designed by Greg Norman. Our villa is in a walled and gated community known as The Sanctuary at West Haven.

Our villa is on a large corner plot and is not overlooked. This feeling of space was very important to us when choosing which villa to buy. There is a pool half-bathroom which is really convenient, and an outside shower. Our villa has a lovely pool, which can be heated if required, and an extended enclosed deck so there is plenty of space for sunbathing. The deck is equipped with top quality pool furniture, including a table that seats six and sun-loungers.

Inside our villa has 4 bedrooms (one king size, one double, and two twins - one of which is Disney themed with Pooh and Tigger) and a queen-size sleeper, so sleeps 10. We also provide a large portable cot and high chair free of charge. There are three full bathrooms in our villa.

In our living room, the 32" cable TV has over 50 channels, and a DVD, VHS Video and Stereo is also provided. There are cable TV's in all bedrooms, and three of the bedrooms have either a DVD or VHS Video player. There is a telephone with free local calls, free internet access and a Playstation with plenty of games.

Our kitchen is fully equipped with large fridge/freezer with ice maker, oven, hob, microwave, dishwasher and all the usual gadgets such as coffee makers, toaster, electric can opener etc. Of course, it is also fully equipped with dishes and cutlery for 10 people.There is a separate area inside our villa housing a washing machine and dryer.

Apart from the main dining area (seating six) there is also a breakfast nook which seats six. We find this great for breakfast, particularly for the kids, although eating alongside the pool is great too!

The master bedroom has a king size (6 foot) bed, and a fantastic en-suite including a garden tub and very large walk-in shower. There are also separate his and hers basins and a large walk in wardrobe. There is also another cable TV and telephone in the Master bedroom.

Apart from the Pooh & Tigger room, there are double and twin bedrooms that share a Jack and Jill bathroom. This bathroom can be shared by both, or can be en-suite to either so its a very flexible design.

Our villa is in a great location, with a very flexible floorplan and on an unusually private plot for homes near Disney.
