Southern Dunes Golf & Country Club in Central Florida

Southern Dunes is a beautifully maintained community with luxury villas situated around the course.

The location is ideal, being just outside Orlando,less than 8 miles south of junction 55 of I4. A very easy and straightforward drive to Disney and other Florida attractions.

Southern Dunes is a secure, peaceful gated community with a guard on duty 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
There is also a luxurious 12,000 square foot clubhouse with a restaurant/bar and banquet facilities. Weddings can be catered for, if you're thinking of tying the knot!!

The course is quite challenging, with a lot of bunkers and some water hazards! It is also unusually undulating for Florida courses. The greens are well maintained and quick, compared to many other courses.

Southern Dunes ranks highly, both in Orlando itself and nationally. Ranked #7 in the state of Florida and awarded a place in Golf Week's "Top 100 Modern Courses"
There is a pro shop, practise putting greens and a driving range.
The golf carts are fitted with the latest sat nav technology.
A refreshment buggy does the rounds, should you feel the need for some refreshment!

Visually, Southern Dunes is extremely pleasant with many examples of wildlife to be seen wandering around! The beautiful herons are a common sight!



The community of Southern Dunes also benefits from having shops within walking distance, including a 24 hour WalMart superstore which sells a huge variety of goods including: food, stationary, sporting goods, craft supplies, clothing, electrical goods......the list is endless!!

Locally (within 5 minutes drive) there are several excellent family restaurants which are popular both with local residents and tourists to the area.
The All Star Bar and Grill is situated just opposite the community and our favourite, Manny's Chophouse is a little further south on H27.

If you fancy keeping fit, there are tennis courts available free of charge, on a first come, first served basis.

Also a children's play area and Lake Joe for fishing (no licence required!).
