Treetops is an awesome two storey 5 bedroom, 4 bathroom vacation home situated in the picturesque Mediterranean style enclave of Lake Wilson Preserve which is just 10 minutes to Disney. This is not a budget rental but a home that will be appreciated by guests who truly believe they deserve the best.

At first sight, you will be thrilled that you have chosen Treetops for your vacation home. When you start to look around, you will discover the finer points that make our home stand out as one of the best. Time has been spent giving great attention to detail in every room.

Just a few of the special things you can expect are the hand dyed, colour matched rose curtain clips in the Rose room, Mickey and Minnie in their safari clothes in the Safari room, the pillow top mattresses and the choice of pillows in the master suites, the coloured pool and spa lights, the finials on the curtain pole in the first floor master bedroom that co-ordinate delightfully with the furnishings and much, much more. Every room has a discovery to be made which will highlight this home as the right choice for the discerning guest who wants something special for their vacation home.

Many people choose Florida for their vacation for the wonderful weather. You can enjoy this to the full with our huge out door living areas. You might choose to get away from it all for a while and sink into the deep cushioned furniture on the spacious balcony. The sunsets from here are truly wonderful and if you are an early riser, you could see the fantastic sight of the hot air balloons that drift over quite regularly in the early morning. The fantastic pool and spa take on a magical atmosphere at night due to the multi coloured lights we have had fitted. The deck is one of the largest to be found in a vacation home and we have ensured there is plenty of deep cushioned comfortable furniture and still lots of room for everyone to enjoy the out door living experience. Everyone will love our rocking chairs, on the balcony and pool deck, which will help you chill out for a while after a hectic day at the parks. These can also be enjoyed on our front porch, just sit and rock as you make new friends and pass the time of day with the neighbours or other folks strolling by.

Guests often ask if there is a shop within walking distance. This is quite unusual in Orlando but from Treetops it is an easy, safe walk to a CVS Pharmacy where you can buy a morning newspaper or stock up on a few groceries. For those guests not familiar with pharmacies in the United States, they are best described as a cross between Boots the Chemist, Woolworths and a corner shop.

GROUND FLOOR

Living room

This lovely light and airy room has three comfortable sofas with side tables and a coffee table that have marble tops which match the beautiful dining suite in the formal dining room There is a cable TV / DVD, Hi Fi and radio and we have provided a full set of 25 Disney DVDs to keep the children amused. For your added comfort there is a three speed ceiling fan with light. Patio doors lead to the large lanai and huge pool deck.

Wireless Internet access will be available from November 2007

Formal Dining room

You will be able to dine in style on the grand marble dining table. There are six matching chairs including 2 carver chairs to complete the luxury aspect of this room. The corner cabinet contains, table protector, table cloth and runner plus a variety of books.

Kitchen and nook

Guests who enjoy cooking will be able to produce mouth watering meals in the unusually spacious kitchen which is well equipped with cutlery and crockery for 10 people. It also has all the cooking pots, pans and accessories you are likely to require. There is a fridge/freezer with an ice making facility, full size cooker and hob, microwave oven, dishwasher, waste disposal unit, coffee maker, toaster, juicer, mixer, electric can opener, electric tea kettle, and for our guests from the UK, a teapot, tea cosy, and tea strainer. We have also provided a cool box so that you can take a picnic where ever you go.

The nook has a table and four chairs which are all softly colour matched to the kitchen cabinets. Patio doors lead from this area onto the huge pool deck. From this corner there is also access to the pool bathroom.

Utility Room

There is a laundry room with large capacity washer and tumble drier. Also provided is an iron and ironing board, laundry basket plus a clothes rack for those items you would rather not put in the drier.

The rich colours and sumptuous feel of the silk quilt with matching pillow shams, bed cushions, skirt and window drapes give this room an inviting, exotic appeal. This ground floor master bedroom has a Queen size bed with luxury pillow top mattress, choice of down or synthetic pillows, a built in closet and linen cupboard, ample drawer space, linen bin, clock radio, cable TV with remote control, hairdryer and three speed ceiling fan with light. The bathroom has a ceramic tiled floor, walk in shower cubicle, wash hand basin and WC.

FIRST FLOOR

Master bedroom with en suite bathroom

Soft colours have been used in this room to create a light and airy sanctuary where you can let your mind and body relax after a hectic day. You can sink into the satin quilt on the King size bed which has a wonderful pillow top mattress and a choice of down or synthetic pillows. The look is completed with matching satin pillow shams, bed cushions and skirt. There is a walk in closet, ample drawer space, linen bin, cable TV /DVD with remote control, clock radio, hairdryer, and three speed ceiling fan with light. In this room are the patio doors leading onto our wonderful 23’ balcony.

The Balcony

Treetops does not back onto any other homes and an extra, very special feature is the large balcony which is an attribute not found in many Orlando homes. It has uninterrupted views of the lush conservation land across the road and, so that you can enjoy the benefits, we have furnished it with fabulous furniture including chaise lounges, a rocking chair an arm chair and a coffee table. This is the perfect place for a peaceful breakfast and, if you are early enough, you might see the hot air balloons drifting by. This is also a lovely tranquil place to settle down with an evening drink or two and watch the sun as it dips below the trees. During the days you decide to relax at the villa, the balcony provides the perfect place for sun worshippers to enjoy the rays uninterrupted by the pool screen mesh, or the ideal place for Mom to escape to for that peaceful hour leaving Dad and the kids to enjoy the pool.

Master bathroom

This spacious bathroom has a ceramic tiled floor, two windows, a full size tub, walk in shower, twin vanity sinks and WC.

Rose bedroom

This lovely room is unashamedly feminine and has had a touch of romance added to the décor. From the all white washed furniture, the white crochet bedspread and matching pillow shams to the drapes scattered with roses and the hand dyed matching rose curtain clips, this room is sure to appeal to the romantic in you. There is a Full size bed (UK Double), a built in closet, plenty of drawer space, linen bin and a TV that is used to play DVDs or to use with one of the Play Station 2 consoles. There is a hairdryer and, for added comfort, a three speed ceiling fan with light.

Safari twin bedroom

To greet you there is the charming touch of Mickey and Minnie huggables dressed in their safari clothes and loved by old and young alike. Our younger guests will delight in sleeping in this room. Encouraged by the safari theme of palm trees and leopard print, they might dream of having adventures whilst on safari themselves. Older guests will also appreciate the subtle stylish décor, many would like in their own home, but dare not have. There are two twin beds, built in closet, chest of drawers linen bin and plush arm chair. The TV is for use with one of the Play Stations that in turn, can be used as a DVD player. There are games to suit a range of ages plus eye toy and headset. In addition, there is a hairdryer and three speed ceiling fan with light.

Butterfly twin room

This sunny room has all white washed furniture and has been enhanced with butterflies and dragonflies and will appeal to all ages. There are two large Mickey and Minnie huggables to welcome you and delight the child in everyone. The room has two twin beds, built in closet, plenty of drawer space, linen bin, hairdryer and three speed ceiling fan with light. There is a TV/DVD for use with either the second Play Station 2 or for playing any of the 25 Disney DVDs we have provided.

Family Bathroom

There is a separate bathroom on the first floor with a ceramic tiled floor, full size bath with shower over, sink and WC.

 POOL AREA

The massive pool area does not back onto any other home and has views over the country road to conservation land and landscaping with palm trees and tropical plants ensures your privacy.It faces south west which ensures it catches the sun all day and the sunsets in the evening. There is a pool heater which is recommended in the cooler months and a pool blanket on a roller which makes it very easy to use. The blanket ensures the pool is kept warm and ready for use when the pool heater is used to heat the water. The pool and spa have a ‘disco’ light which changes colour constantly and creates an amazing atmosphere at night. There are some inflatable pool toys for all the family to have fun and especially nice is the integral spa/Jacuzzi to help wake you up in the morning or revive you after a long day at the parks. The huge deck has seating for 10 people in comfort with ample room for all guests to enjoy the area. Deep cushioned, luxury sun loungers are provided as is a rocking chair. The 23’ covered lanai has a ceiling fan with light to provide a cooling breeze on those hot summer evenings and a large table that sits six in the same deep cushioned comfortable chairs. There is a further table with parasol, for some shade, that sits four. These four large comfortable armchairs have ottomans so that they can be used as additional sun loungers. There is a pool towel stand and this whole area is screened so that debris is kept out of the pool.

Pool bathroom

There is an added bonus of a pool bathroom which is accessible from both the pool area and inside the ground floor. It has a walk in shower, wash hand basin and WC. Having access from the deck makes this very convenient when using the pool, it also means guests can shower after using the pool, much like using a deck shower but nicer.

Games Room

If the family has any energy left after a day at the parks, the games room offers a place where they can amuse themselves for hours. It is equipped with a pool table and air hockey table plus a table for foosball and an electronic dart board. Bar stools and a shelf for drinks plus cartoons of Mickey and Pluto painted on the walls complete this fun room.

 

Treetops is fully air conditioned and has ceiling fans with lights in most rooms and on the lanai. These will provide a cooling breeze on warm Winter days when using the air conditioning might make the home too cold. Keys are kept in a lockbox at the house so you can go directly to the house and let yourself in. Our home also has a monitored security alarm for your security and for your peace of mind, we have also provided a safe for your valuables. For added safety, the house is fitted with pool door alarms, smoke detectors, emergency lighting and a fire extinguisher. There is also a pair of two way radios which can be invaluable in keeping in touch with family and friends while visiting the parks or shopping malls.

Treetops is situated on Lake Wilson Preserve, which is a small, pretty, Mediterranean style community neighbouring a bounty of state-of-the-art recreational facilities at Reunion Resort and Champion’s Gate. There are two golf courses at Champions Gate designed by Greg Norman. There is also a pedestrian village centre with an array of shops, restaurants and boutiques including a Publix supermarket. Located on “Disney’s” doorstep (only 10 minutes to Disney main gate) you are also minutes away from the unlimited dining and entertainment options clustered along US Hwy 192 as well as central Florida’s other major theme parks. Access to the I4 is only 2 miles away giving easy access to Orlando International or Tampa airports, and the Gulf Coast or the Atlantic Coast.

Pool heat US$25 / £16 per day (recommended between October and April).  

Payment can be made by personal check or Credit Card.

Once you decide to stay in our house you will be required to pay US$200 / £150 per week, or part week, deposit to secure your requested dates. The balance will be due 10 weeks prior to your vacation.

A security bond of US$300 / £200 is payable with your balance and refundable after your stay.
